About The Position

The Lead Engineer oversees and guides an engineering team in designing, developing, and implementing architectural panels and steel products. This role leads engineering projects from conception through completion, ensuring quality standards are met and projects stay on schedule and within budget. The position collaborates with design, production, and sales teams to develop product specifications and engineering solutions that meet customer needs, and supports innovation and continuous improvement in a dynamic environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or related field).
• Proven experience in engineering design and project management, particularly in the architectural or construction industry.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in engineering software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor engineers, providing technical guidance and support throughout project phases.
• Collaborate with design, production, and sales teams to develop product specifications and engineering solutions that meet customer needs.
• Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments, and develop strategies to mitigate potential challenges.
• Oversee the design process and ensure engineering drawings and specifications are accurate and comply with industry standards.
• Manage project timelines and resources to complete projects on schedule and within budget.
• Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to promote innovation and continuous improvement.
• Prepare and present technical reports and project updates to stakeholders, including senior management and clients.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality assurance processes throughout engineering and production.
