About The Position

AccessIT Group is a specialized cybersecurity solutions provider offering security services for the design, implementation, and operation of security programs and infrastructure. The company focuses on cloud, risk management, compliance, and implementation services and works with organizations to address evolving cyber threats. The Lead Engineer manages and delivers client engagements, supports Sales in identifying and positioning product and service opportunities, and helps clients determine enterprise infrastructure needs. The role delivers consulting engagements for mid-sized and large organizations and designs, implements, and migrates security architectures and platforms to meet client business and security requirements while minimizing risk. The Lead Engineer also serves as a subject matter expert, helps shape clients’ end-to-end security strategies, evaluates technologies, and communicates technical and program-level solutions to stakeholders.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or 8+ years of relevant experience.
Sufficient technical and strategic information security, compliance, and governance knowledge and experience to conduct complex security engagements.
Hands-on implementation experience with one or more leading security platforms, such as Netskope, Palo Alto Networks, and CrowdStrike, including deployment, policy design, and integration into existing client environments.
Exceptional customer service skills.
Ability to present complex, sensitive, or contentious information to large groups of technicians, specialists, and senior managers.
Ability to prepare written reports and deliver oral presentations to clients, including conclusions and cost-effective recommended solutions based on specialized professional expertise.
Project planning and implementation skills.
Ability to work through difficult and dynamic situations successfully.

Responsibilities

Manage and deliver client engagements.
Assist Sales with identifying and positioning product and service opportunities with clients.
Assist clients with determining enterprise infrastructure needs.
Scope projects and distribute assignments as appropriate.
Perform client-facing consulting engagements within mid-sized and large organizations.
Design and develop security architectures for client technology environments based on business requirements.
Design and implement network and cloud architectures that meet security requirements while minimizing risk and applying appropriate controls.
Lead the design, implementation, and migration of enterprise security platforms across SSE, next-generation firewall, and endpoint domains, from initial architecture through production cutover and knowledge transfer.
Act as a subject matter expert for technologies related to information and system protection.
Facilitate understanding and development of end-to-end technology security strategy and architecture.
Evaluate and recommend cloud and infrastructure security technologies and solutions.
Ensure proposed security technologies align with client business and security objectives.
Maintain technical expertise in the assigned discipline, from security fundamentals to current technologies.
Communicate with project stakeholders to convey requirements for technical and program-level solutions.
