About The Position
Sevita is hiring a full-time Lead Direct Support Professional to support individuals in reaching personal and developmental goals and participating in their communities. The role involves building trusting relationships as a mentor, advocate, and friend, and assisting with daily living activities including meal preparation, medication administration, personal care, and outings. The position is onsite on the evening shift, with a starting pay of $22 per hour. Sevita provides training and opportunities to grow and advance.
Requirements
- At least 6 months of experience in the field.
- Valid driver's license held for at least 1 year.
- Clean driving record.
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Successful clearance of background checks.
Responsibilities
- Support individuals in achieving personal and developmental goals, including budgeting and nutrition.
- Build trusting relationships with individuals as a mentor, advocate, and friend.
- Take initiative in supporting individuals and contributing ideas.
- Assist with daily living activities, including meal preparation, medication administration, personal care, and outings.
- Help individuals participate in their communities and attend activities and events they enjoy.
