About The Position

Turner & Townsend are seeking an experienced Cost Controller / Change Control looking for the next step or are currently undertaking a similar role in a similar environment. As Cost Controller, you will be involved with implementing, administering, and maintaining cost control systems and procedures to track project budgets, commitments, expenditures, and forecasts for projects of medium complexity and value. You will also assist in the preparation and review of cost estimates, provide cost information to support decisions and alternative selections, evaluate and analyze fee proposals/bids, and provide recommendations for decision-making. Additionally, you will provide forecasts and cash flow analysis, maintain and manage the cost report, and provide regular updates on the financial position. Assisting in the development, validation, and maintenance of the project schedule, as well as developing reporting tracking tools and generating cost reports on a regular basis (including earned value evaluation) are also key responsibilities. This role involves building intricate spreadsheets for fast and accurate data manipulation of large datasets, extracting and transforming data from several sources, and reconciling data to support complete accuracy and create a clean audit trail. SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role and must be adhered to where applicable.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of Cost Control experience within construction.
  • A recognized university degree in Construction Management or related field

Responsibilities
