Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Cost Controller / Change Control looking for the next step or are currently undertaking a similar role in a similar environment. As Cost Controller, you will be involved with implementing, administering, and maintaining cost control systems and procedures to track project budgets, commitments, expenditures, and forecasts for projects of medium complexity and value. You will also assist in the preparation and review of cost estimates, provide cost information to support decisions and alternative selection, evaluate and analyze fee proposals/bids, and provide forecasts and cash flow analysis. The role involves maintaining and managing the cost report, providing regular updates on the financial position, assisting in the development, validation, and maintenance of the project schedule, and developing reporting tracking tools and generating cost reports on a regular basis, including evaluation of earned value. A key part of the role involves building intricate spreadsheets for fast and accurate data manipulation of large datasets, extracting data from several sources, transforming it to fit operational needs, and reconciling data to support complete accuracy and create a clean audit trail. SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.
