Lead Consultant - Buying and Invoicing
About The Position
As Lead Consultant you will have responsibility for assisting clients to improve their finance, supply chain and procurement functions through advisory, implementation and support activities with a focus on leveraging SAP based technologies. You will play a leading role in your area of expertise with the aim to successfully deliver and implement projects within the agreed scope to the highest level of quality. You will be leading a team of consultants within a workstream of a large project or acting as a project manager in smaller engagements. You will be responsible for coaching, mentoring and assigning activities to your project team as well as engaging with senior stakeholders.
Requirements
- Assisting clients to improve their finance, supply chain and procurement functions
- Advisory, implementation and support activities
- Leveraging SAP based technologies
- Leading a team of consultants within a workstream of a large project or acting as a project manager in smaller engagements
- Coaching, mentoring and assigning activities to your project team
- Engaging with senior stakeholders
- Experience in documenting client process flow to capture as is/to be process
- Experience in writing requirement and specification documents capturing client needs
- Experience in configuring system in line with requirements and specification documents
- Experience in developing testing scripts in line with configured system and client requirement
- Experience in executing and supporting client testing
- Experience in preparing and delivering presentations to support engagement and workshops with clients
- Ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders and project team
- Ability to maintain application knowledge as assigned to business process areas
- Ability to solve a company’s business requirements through the blending of people, process and technology
- Ability to direct and assign project tasks to team members and providing ongoing support through coaching, mentoring
- Ability to identify ‘deviations’ and take appropriate corrective action
- Ability to effectively transfer design and configuration knowledge to team members and provide ‘Best Business Practice’ knowledge to aid in the design process
- Ability to support the sales team with presales activities including demos, RFP responses and technical discovery workshops
Responsibilities
