About the position
This job is for a Lead Cloud Engineer who will be responsible for providing infrastructure architecture, engineering support, and FedRAMP compliance in Azure. The role involves understanding and extending existing design and architecture, building and securing the cloud network and infrastructure, and supporting operations. The ideal candidate should have deep experience with public cloud IaaS, knowledge of Windows and Linux OS, network integration experience, and experience with implementing information security controls. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are also required.
Responsibilities
- Understand and extend existing design and architecture for Ivalua Commercial Cloud and GovCloud
- Build and secure the cloud network and infrastructure
- Support operations for the cloud infrastructure
- Be the subject matter expert to support cloud security audits/RFIs
- Able to produce high-quality technical documentation
- Ability to present and discuss cloud architecture and controls with clients and prospects
- Gather and share best practices across international technology teams
- Deep experience with public cloud Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) – Azure (preferred), AWS, GCP deployments
- Deep knowledge of Windows and Linux OS
- Network integration experience (e.g. LAN, WAN, Firewalls, Load Balancer, etc.)
- Experience with implementing Information Security Controls (e.g. FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, FIPS, CIS, SIEM, etc.)
- Work on SQL Server and IIS configuration
- PowerShell scripting
- Strong interpersonal, communication, planning, presentation, and relationship building skills
- Positive attitude and a strong commitment to delivering quality work
