Lead Cleaner
About The Position
The Lead Cleaner oversees and performs cleaning operations at an assigned building, helping ensure facility operations follow established policies, procedures, and cleanliness and safety standards. The role coordinates daily operations by delegating assignments, guiding and supervising team members, and providing onsite leadership when the Manager is absent. It also involves operating specialized equipment, handling cleaning chemicals, and assisting with general janitorial duties as needed. The Lead Cleaner supports scheduling, communication between field employees and management, training and onboarding of new hires, quality checks, and completion of time records. The position is located at 50 Airways Blvd, Nashville, TN 37217, with an hourly pay range of $16.50–$17.00. Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Nice To Haves
- One year of similar work experience.
- One year of customer service experience.
- One year of lead or supervisory experience.
- Valid driver's license.
Responsibilities
- Follow assigned work schedules and route cards, and report barriers.
- Provide leadership and direction to team members.
- Maintain open communication between field employees and management, and monitor and document client communications.
- Assist with making daily and weekly work schedules.
- Oversee and perform cleaning operations in the assigned building.
- Safeguard keys and access cards for the property.
- Report damaged, broken, or nonfunctioning features and items.
- Oversee and perform additional service requests (tag jobs) in the assigned building.
- Oversee job quality and confirm completion with the Area Manager.
- Train new hires assigned to the building in accordance with onboarding procedures.
- Complete and validate time records for regular or subcontractor employees.
- Check supplies, equipment, and chemicals weekly.
- Complete any additional certifications or training needed for the site type.
- Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
