Lead Case Manager
About The Position
The Lead Case Manager leads the delivery of quality patient care and supports adherence to policies, procedures, and case management protocols. The role contributes to monitoring, guiding, and evaluating staff performance; coordinating activities; prioritizing workflow; and promoting decision-making and problem solving. The Lead Case Manager also performs Case Manager duties and provides consultation for and/or management of patients requiring complex or advanced treatment or care. This full-time, day-schedule position is in the Case Management department at UAB St. Vincent's Birmingham.
Requirements
- Current Certified Case Manager (CCM) certification from the Commission for Case Manager Certification (CCMC), or current licensure or eligibility for licensure as an LMSW or LCSW by the Alabama State Board of Social Work Examiners.
- High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or an associate's degree, or a technical degree.
- At least 1 year of work experience.
Nice To Haves
- Master's degree preferred.
Responsibilities
