About The Position
The Lead Case Manager works in the Case Management department at UAB St Vincent's Birmingham on a full-time day schedule. The role leads the delivery of quality patient care and adherence to policies, procedures, and case management protocols. It participates in monitoring, guiding, and evaluating staff performance; helps coordinate activities, prioritize workflow, and promote decision-making and problem-solving; performs Case Manager duties; and provides consultation or management for patients requiring complex or advanced treatment or care.
Requirements
- Current Certified Case Manager (CCM) certification from the Commission for Case Manager Certification (CCMC), or current licensure or eligibility for licensure as an LMSW or LCSW by the Alabama State Board of Social Work Examiners.
- High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, an associate's degree, or a technical degree.
- At least 1 year of work experience.
Nice To Haves
- Master's degree.
