Lead Carpentry Installer
About The Position
Closets by Design is a nationally recognized leader in home organizing systems, designing, manufacturing, and installing custom closets, home office furniture, media systems, wall-beds, garage cabinetry, and more. The Lead Carpentry Installer helps install products in customers’ homes, delivering safe, high-quality, productive work while supporting client satisfaction through friendly, professional communication. The role involves using company-provided tools and equipment and operating a company vehicle safely. Training is provided, with paid training and ongoing professional development. Work is Monday through Friday, with no weekends. Hourly pay includes performance-based earning incentives, with stated total earning potential of $60K–$80K+ in the first year.
Requirements
- Customer-oriented, friendly, and enthusiastic.
- Reliable and punctual, with a good work ethic.
- Possess and maintain a current driver’s license.
- Have a good driving record.
- Operate a company vehicle safely.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong personal organization skills.

- Closet, garage, or office installation experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Help install custom closets and cabinets at customer homes.
- Follow basic drawings or instructions to assist with setup.
- Use hand and power tools safely.
- Measure, cut, and fit materials.
- Assist with mounting shelves and leveling parts.
- Keep job sites clean and organized during and after installation.
- Communicate with clients in a genuinely friendly and professional manner to support client satisfaction.
- Operate company vehicles, tools, and equipment safely.
