About The Position

Bayland Buildings is seeking a Carpentry Leadman to work alongside crew members on rough and finish carpentry for commercial, industrial, and agricultural projects in Green Bay and neighboring areas. The position offers full-time, year-round employment, competitive compensation and benefits, and the opportunity to join an employee-owned company. The Carpentry Leadman works closely with the Foreman to motivate, train, and mentor a crew of 3–4 carpenters, help plan and organize daily jobsite operations, and maintain a safe, quality-focused work culture. The role requires physical labor and work outdoors in variable weather conditions and a fast-paced environment. Travel is required.

Requirements

Any combination of education and experience demonstrating the knowledge and ability to perform the work.
Ability to read and understand blueprints.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Willingness to travel.
Ability to regularly lift heavy objects: 0–50 lbs from ground to shoulder and 0–80 lbs from ground to carrying height.
Ability to perform physical labor.
Ability to operate hand and power tools and equipment.
Ability to work outdoors in variable weather conditions and in a fast-paced work environment.
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

Lead and work with crew members performing rough and finish carpentry on commercial, industrial, and agricultural projects.
Frame interior walls; install trim and door frames; hang doors; and install bath partitions.
Work with the Foreman to motivate, train, and mentor a crew of 3–4 carpenters.
Maintain a safe and quality-focused work culture.
Assist in planning and organizing daily jobsite operations.
Ensure high-quality workmanship and efficient production.
Perform physical labor and work outdoors in variable weather conditions.
