About The Position

Closets by Design is a nationally recognized leader in home organizing systems, designing, manufacturing, and installing custom closets, home office furniture, media systems, wall-beds, garage cabinetry, and more. The company is seeking a motivated, organized, and customer-focused Carpentry Installer to install products safely, with high quality and productivity, while supporting customer satisfaction through friendly, professional communication. The role involves installing custom closets and cabinets in customers’ homes and assisting with measuring, cutting, fitting, mounting, and leveling materials, with guidance from a lead carpenter. Training is provided. The position offers a direct career track to Lead with a pay increase, paid training, and ongoing professional development. The schedule is Monday through Friday, and tools and equipment are provided.

Requirements

Customer-oriented, friendly, and enthusiastic.
Reliable and punctual with a good work ethic.
Possess and maintain a current driver’s license.
Have a good driving record.
Operate a company vehicle safely.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong personal organization skills.

Nice To Haves

Closet, garage, or office installation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Install custom closets and cabinets in customers’ homes.
Follow basic drawings or instructions to assist with setup.
Use hand and power tools safely; training is provided.
Measure, cut, and fit materials with guidance from the lead carpenter.
Assist with mounting shelves and leveling parts.
Keep job sites clean and organized during and after installation.
Communicate with clients in a friendly and professional manner to support satisfaction.
Operate company vehicles and tools safely.
