About The Position

Closets by Design is hiring a Lead Carpentry Installer to install custom home-organizing products at customers’ homes. The role is responsible for completing installations safely, to a high standard of quality, and productively. Installers communicate with customers in a friendly and professional manner, operate company vehicles and tools safely, and keep work areas clean and organized. Training is provided. Compensation is commission-based, with hourly pay available at the start and during training.

Requirements

• Customer-oriented, friendly, and enthusiastic.
• Reliable and punctual, with a good work ethic.
• Possess and maintain a current driver’s license.
• Have a good driving record.
• Operate a company vehicle safely.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong personal organization skills.

Nice To Haves

• Closet, garage, or office installation experience.

Responsibilities

• Install custom closets and cabinets in customers’ homes.
• Follow basic drawings or installation instructions.
• Measure, cut, and fit materials.
• Use hand and power tools safely.
• Keep job sites clean and organized during and after installation.
• Communicate with customers in a friendly and professional manner to support client satisfaction.
• Operate company vehicles, tools, and other equipment safely.
