If you’re ready to grow with us, we’d love to hear from you. About the Role We are seeking a Maintenance Lead to join our team at our Swedesboro, NJ bakery. As a Maintenance Lead, you will coordinate the activities of the maintenance crew during your shift in the absence of the Shift Maintenance Supervisor. This role involves executing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring efficient use of labor and materials to maintain company facilities and equipment.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure; interpret graphs and diagrams preferred.
  • Experience working in a maintenance department, preferably in an automated food processing plant.
  • Ability to read and interpret work orders, operating manuals, and maintenance instructions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of preventative maintenance software preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Licenses or certifications as required by local, county, state, or federal agencies.

Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks as an active member of the shift team.
  • Maintain detailed records of repairs, rebuilds, and line inspections.
  • Manage contractor work as required and assigned.
  • Communicate performance standards and expectations to the team.
  • Coordinate and monitor work orders and projects across shifts using CMMS.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of mechanical downtime and recommend improvements.
  • Maintain plant facilities and grounds in compliance with regulations and company standards.
  • Stay current on manufacturing technologies and engineering concepts to improve plant performance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned while ensuring quality, legality, and safety standards
