About The Position

Lead Associates provide store leadership in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant to the Manager. They demonstrate friendly customer service and teamwork and must show integrity and resourcefulness while working in a varied, fast-paced environment. Some duties are required only when other members of the management team are absent.

Associates should be available to work most store hours, especially evenings and weekends. Stores are open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and open at 11 a.m. on Sunday. Pay is $17.25.

Requirements

• Lead or supervisory experience is required.
• Must demonstrate integrity and resourcefulness and enjoy a varied, fast-paced environment.
• Must be available to work most store hours, especially evenings and weekends.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide store leadership when the Store Manager or Assistant to the Manager is absent.
• Close the store, reconcile cash with daily sales reports, and secure the facility for the night.
• Prepare and maintain store-operation records, including daily sales reports, cash deposits, and opening and closing reports; conduct inspections when necessary.
• Operate the cash register and provide customer service.
• Receive, price, and stock donations.
• Hang, inspect, and tag textiles and clothing in a production-style setting.
