About The Position

Lead Associates provide store leadership when the Store Manager or Assistant to the Manager is absent. They demonstrate friendly customer service and teamwork, and should show integrity and resourcefulness while working in a varied, fast-paced environment. Some duties are required only when other members of the management team are absent. The position pays $16.50. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, and lead or supervisory experience is required. Associates should be available to work most store hours, especially evenings and weekends. Stores are open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m.

Requirements

• Lead or supervisory experience is required.
• Availability to work most store hours, especially evenings and weekends.
• Receivers may occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds and frequently lift and carry 10 to 35 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Close the store, reconcile cash with daily sales reports, and secure the facility for the night.
• Prepare and maintain store-operation records, including daily sales reports, cash deposits, and opening and closing reports; conduct inspections when necessary.
• Operate the cash register and provide customer service.
• Receive, price, and stock donations.
• Hang, inspect, and tag textiles and clothing in a production-style setting.
