About The Position

Destination Pet is seeking a confident, compassionate, and capable Lead Animal Care Attendant to join their team at Bow Chika Wow Town. This role involves guiding daily operations, managing various tasks such as cleaning, medication administration, and handling multiple animals simultaneously. Requirements

Obsessed with animals.
3+ years of previous work experience in animal care.
Medication administration experience required.
Ability to lead by example.
Calm under pressure.
Confident in guiding and supporting teammates.
High school diploma required.
Availability on evenings, weekends, and holidays required.
Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
Must be able to stand, walk, climb stairs, and handle leashed dogs for most of the shift.

Nice To Haves

CPR training is a big plus (company can help with this).

Responsibilities

Leading the pack during assigned shifts, coaching, guiding, and setting the tone for pet care excellence.
Working alongside Animal Care Attendants to ensure safety, cleanliness, and a positive environment.
Training new hires on proper pet handling, procedures, and facility protocols.
Monitoring pet guests for health, safety, and reporting any concerns to management.
Serving food, fresh water, and providing daily care to every pet guest.
Overseeing medication administration and care for special needs guests.
Bathing and brushing pets.
Maintaining cleanliness and a pleasant environment within the facility.
Other duties as assigned.
