About The Position
TeamHealth has an excellent opportunity for a lead acute care or pediatric nurse practitioner to join our team at El Paso Children's Hospital in El Paso, Texas. This comprehensive emergency department offers a team that is trained to treat the full spectrum of pediatric emergencies with access to board certified pediatric specialists. About El Paso Children's Hospital ED: Annual patient volume of 27,000, 13-bed ED, EMR: Cerner, 24 hours of physician coverage (12-hour shifts), 12 to 24 hours of APC coverage.
Requirements
- Board-certified acute care nurse practitioner (ACNP or AGACNP) through ANCC or AACN, or board-certified pediatric primary care nurse practitioner (PPCNP) through ANCC
- Current ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Texas medical license and DEA or ability to obtain prior to start date

- Prefer 2+ years in peds
