About The Position

This position runs 5 to 7 days out and averages 10,000 to 12,000 miles per month. Running LCV open board and Canada/US long-haul when LCV is not available. Southbound freight could depart into any of the lower 48 states. 24 days on the road per month. Might be asked to cover scheduled runs as Operationally needed for a period of time up to 4 weeks. Regional freight will be required. Flexible schedule, all shifts include working Saturday and Sunday. Turnpike pay-package applies.

Requirements

Experienced Owner-Operator with 24 months tractor trailer experience.
Must have a valid Class 1/AZ license.
Bunk Truck will be required.
Must be eligible to drive in the U.S.
Must have a minimum of 6-months verifiable LCV experience including operating during winter conditions.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or more.
Registered with the Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse.

Nice To Haves

BC Mountain experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Run LCV open board and Canada/US long-haul when LCV is not available.
Depart with southbound freight into any of the lower 48 states.
Cover scheduled runs as operationally needed for a period of time up to 4 weeks.
Haul all commodities including meat and alcohol.
Drive on Highway 17 in Ontario 12 months a year.
Drive U.S. Mountains 12 months a year.
