About The Position

The Long Haul Driver delivers product from the manufacturing plant to customer sites on longer runs. The driver performs all duties safely and legally and is responsible for their own safety and the safety of surrounding employees. The role involves operating a tractor-trailer and pump equipment and valves at customer sites and on trucks.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CDL Class A license with HazMat and Tanker endorsements.
• One year of long-haul driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload product using motorized pumps.
• Drive the truck from the manufacturing plant to customer sites and return.
• Make necessary stops to fuel and maintain the truck.
• Perform pre-trip inspections.
• Keep the truck clean and orderly.
• Keep accurate, current paperwork.
• Maintain current permits required for the truck.
• Maintain accurate driver’s daily logs.
• Perform DOT vehicle inspections for air brakes, lights, and safety equipment.
• Perform other duties as deemed necessary by the company.
