About The Position
This position is for a Football Varsity Assistant Lay Coach for the 2026-2027 School Year at East Ridge High School. Supplements for cleared and hired lay coaches are paid as a one-time payment upon completion of activity and satisfactory inventory, after a sport/season has concluded. Applicants must apply and be eligible for Athletic Coaching certification through the Florida Department of Education (FLDOE). Costs associated with becoming a Lay Coach, to be paid by the applicant prior to hire, include FLDOE Certification Fees ($75.00), Fingerprinting ($82.00), Drug Test Fee ($20.00), and CPR/AED/First Aid Certification (Varies), totaling $177+.
