About The Position
Propel Schools is seeking an Assistant Varsity Flag Football Coach for the 26-27 season. This position will support the flag football program at Propel Braddock Hills High School, Propel Andrew St. High School, and Propel Montour High School. The season is scheduled to begin in March and conclude in April, with potential for postseason play. The role includes a seasonal stipend of $1,000, prorated for those who start after the official season begins.
Requirements
- Up-to-date TB Test
- Act 34 Criminal Clearance
- Act 114 FBI Clearance
- Act 151 Child Abuse Clearance
- Prior flag football or football coaching experience
- Effective coaching technique and skills
- Knowledge of rules, regulations, strategies, and techniques of the sport
- High level of personal organization and planning
- Strong communication and relationship building skills
Nice To Haves
- Student-athlete experience on the high school and/or intercollegiate level
- Prior flag football coaching experience
Responsibilities
- Implement off-season programs in accordance with WPIAL/PIAA regulations.
- Attend all required PIAA preseason coaching meetings.
- Participate in mandatory coaching certification/trainings in compliance with PIAA regulations.
- Engage in ongoing professional development.
- Uphold the Propel Habits.
