About The Position
The Laundry Washer collects, transports, and processes hotel linens and specialty laundry items to support memorable guest experiences. The role includes maintaining a clean and organized laundry workspace, coordinating with external laundry services when needed, monitoring equipment for malfunctions or safety hazards, and following hotel fire-safety, security, and health standards. Responsibilities
- Gather dirty linens, transport them to the laundry area, and return empty bins to designated locations.
- Keep the laundry area clean, organized, and well-maintained.
- Wash designated specialty items, including throws, pillow covers, robes, and curtains.
- Send designated laundry items to external services as needed.
- Identify and report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards.
- Follow hotel regulations regarding fire safety, security, and health standards.
