About The Position
Norwood Towers Post Acute is seeking a reliable, warm-hearted Laundry & Housekeeping Aide to help keep its nursing home clean, comfortable, and fresh for residents. The role supports a welcoming environment and works alongside caregivers dedicated to resident care. The aide keeps clean linens available, handles resident laundry carefully, and maintains cleanliness, safety, and sanitation throughout the facility. The position also involves operating laundry equipment safely and reporting maintenance needs. Dayshift is available, with a listed pay range of $13–$15.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet.
- Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude.
Nice To Haves
- One year of laundry or housekeeping experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Keep clean linens available and assist with washing, drying, folding, and labeling clothing.
- Handle resident laundry with care and deliver it promptly to residents’ rooms.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and sanitation throughout the facility.
- Safely operate laundry equipment and report maintenance needs.
