About The Position

Calyx Living is hiring Laundry / Housekeepers for its new assisted living community, Calyx Living of Apex, located in Apex near I-540 and Highway 64. The role is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitized, and comfortable environment for residents through housekeeping and laundry duties. Candidates should be caring, reliable, diligent, organized, detail-oriented, and able to communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members.

Requirements

• Housekeeping experience is strongly preferred.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills with the team, residents, and families.
• Reliable, diligent, and hardworking.
• Able to climb, bend, lift, stoop, kneel, crawl, push, reach, and carry; stand for extended periods; and potentially move furniture.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
• A caring attitude and positive outlook, with enthusiasm for making an impact in the lives of seniors.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize the community and resident areas.
• Make beds and change linens.
• Perform laundry duties.
• Vacuum.
• Complete other tasks as needed to support a clean and comfortable environment for residents.
• Respond productively and handle additional tasks or projects as assigned.
