Housekeeper ? Laundry Worker
About The Position
Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring a Housekeeper to help maintain a clean and safe environment in a long-term care facility. The role involves cleaning and sanitizing resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices in accordance with established procedures, safety guidelines, infection-control policies, and universal precautions. The Housekeeper maintains cleaning records, reports maintenance or safety issues, and interacts positively with residents, staff, and guests while providing customer service. Other duties may be assigned. The position pays USD $16.00–$16.85 per hour. Candidates must be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously, work around cleaning products, follow oral and written instructions, and meet the stated physical demands. Residency within the service area is required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
- Comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push or pull up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously and daily.
- Ability to work around cleaning products.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Residency within the service area is required.
Nice To Haves
- Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices as part of daily housekeeping tasks.
- Clean and sanitize areas according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
- Maintain records of cleaning activities and report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
- Follow infection-control and universal-precautions policies.
- Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests and provide excellent customer service.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
