About The Position

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring a Housekeeper to help maintain a clean and safe environment in a long-term care facility. The role involves cleaning and sanitizing resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices; following established procedures and safety guidelines; maintaining cleaning records; and reporting maintenance or safety issues. The Housekeeper is expected to follow infection-control and universal-precaution policies, interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, and complete other duties as assigned. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required. Applicants must be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks, follow oral and written instructions, communicate effectively, work around cleaning products, and meet the physical demands of the role. Residency within the service area is required, and employees must comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies. The starting pay rate is $15.00 per hour. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.
Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
Comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push or pull up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
Ability to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously and daily.
Ability to work around cleaning products.
Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
Residency within the service area is required.

Responsibilities

Perform daily housekeeping tasks, including cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices.
Clean and sanitize areas according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
Maintain records of cleaning activities and report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
Follow infection-control and universal-precaution policies.
Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests and provide customer service.
Complete all other duties as assigned.
