About The Position

Join Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) as a Housekeeper and help maintain a clean and safe environment in a long-term care facility. The role includes cleaning and sanitizing resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices; following established procedures, safety guidelines, infection-control policies, and universal precautions; and maintaining records of cleaning activities. The Housekeeper reports maintenance or safety issues and interacts positively with residents, staff, and guests while providing excellent customer service. Other duties may be assigned.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required. The employee must be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks, follow oral and written instructions, work around cleaning products, and meet the stated physical requirements. Residency within the service area is required, as is compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
• Comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously and daily.
• Work around cleaning products.
• Follow oral and written instructions.
• Residency within the service area is required.

Nice To Haves

• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping tasks, including cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices.
• Clean and sanitize all areas according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Maintain records of cleaning activities and report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection-control and universal-precautions policies to maintain a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests and provide excellent customer service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
