About The Position

A Laundry Attendant is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and proper handling of hotel linens, towels, uniforms, and guest laundry. The role supports hotel hygiene standards and guest satisfaction by delivering fresh, well-presented laundry items in a timely manner. The position has no supervisory responsibilities. It reports to the Director of Housekeeping, Housekeeping Manager, and/or Executive Housekeeper.

Requirements

• Less than a high school diploma.
• Ability to perform the essential duties satisfactorily, with reasonable accommodations where applicable.
• Frequently stand and walk; use hands to finger and reach; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
• Required vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Nice To Haves

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience in a similar environment.

Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and press hotel linens and towels.
• Ensure laundry items are clean, stain-free, and presentable.
• Monitor laundry supply inventory and report shortages or damage.
• Maintain laundry equipment and report malfunctions.
• Follow hotel hygiene and safety protocols.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and front desk teams for timely delivery.
• Assist other departments during peak times or special events.
