About The Position

As a Laundry Attendant, you will help maintain the cleanliness and quality of guest room and Food and Beverage outlet linens and terry, contributing to a positive experience for guests and associates. You will support efficient laundry operations by working with the team to wash, dry, and process required items in a timely manner. This is a full-time position requiring weekend availability.

• Ability to use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects and frequently reach with hands and arms.
• Ability to occasionally sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

• Previous experience as a Laundry Attendant or in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain laundry equipment, including washing machines and dryers.
• Handle and store clean and soiled linens properly.
• Keep the laundry area clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering laundry supplies as needed.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and other hotel staff to ensure timely delivery of clean linens.
• Handle guest and associate requests for additional linens or laundry services.
• Follow health and safety protocols, including proper use of cleaning chemicals.
• Understand basic laundry maintenance and preventive maintenance.
• Promptly report maintenance issues to the Engineering Department and Housekeeping leadership.
• Maintain daily laundry logs as assigned to support efficient processing.
• Work in a fast-paced environment and respond flexibly to spontaneous guest and business needs.
• Maintain a professional appearance and conduct.
• Help ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws, including OSHA requirements, within the position's scope.
• Use gloves, safety glasses, and hearing protection as needed; report defective, damaged, lost, or ill-fitting PPE and equipment to management.
• Maintain the Main Laundry room according to shift checklists and leadership assignments.
• Know emergency procedures and how to act on them.
