About The Position
The Housekeeping Internship is a hands-on overview of line-level housekeeping positions. Interns perform duties in several key roles, including Room Attendant, House Person, Public Area Cleaner, Laundry Attendant, and Floor Supervisor. This internship is for Summer 2027 and is intended for college students seeking an internship for school credit.
Requirements
- Must be in college and seeking an internship for school credit.
- Bend, stoop, stand, and walk long distances for the duration of the shift.
- Be able to lift 75 pounds occasionally and 20–30 pounds regularly throughout the shift.
- Push and pull linen carts weighing up to 400 pounds.
- Be reliable and willing to work weekends and holidays.
- Communicate in English verbally and in writing.
- Be able to use different types of chemicals.
- Work independently and follow directions as assigned by supervisors.
Responsibilities
- Perform duties associated with the Room Attendant role.
- Perform duties associated with the House Person role.
- Perform duties associated with the Public Area Cleaner role.
- Perform duties associated with the Laundry Attendant role.
- Perform duties associated with the Floor Supervisor role.
- Deliver guest and associate requests within 15 minutes.
