Laundry Attendant (PM Shift) - Hilton Asheville Biltmore Park
About The Position
The Laundry Attendant handles hotel laundry, including linens from guest rooms, restaurant, and banquet areas, as well as towels, uniforms, bedspreads, and blankets. The role also involves keeping the laundry area clean and organized, assisting Room Attendants and Porters as needed, and treating each hotel guest with care and hospitality. The position requires availability for the PM shift, flexible availability, and work on weekends and holidays. The role involves regular use of cleaning products and work in a hot environment at various times during the year. Candidates must be capable of lifting up to 35 pounds and of constant walking, lifting, bending, pushing, and pulling. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Knowledge of hotel housekeeping and cleaning techniques is expected; at least one year of experience in a hotel setting is a plus. Good communication and interpersonal skills are also expected.
