About The Position
The Housekeeping Houseperson (also referred to as Porter/Houseperson) works alongside the Housekeeping team to help maintain a clean facility and support guest needs. The role handles guest cleanliness concerns, cleans corridors, guest areas, parking lots, service areas, and restrooms, coordinates with Maintenance on repairs, stocks supplies, and assists Housekeepers and the Front Desk with guest requests and deliveries. Strong teamwork, attention to detail, and efficient work in a fast-paced environment are important. The role requires working with cleaning products and performing the physical tasks associated with housekeeping.
Requirements
- Be a strong team player.
- Be able to lift, push, and pull up to 35 pounds.
- Be able to stand and walk for extended periods and frequently bend, stoop, and reach.
- Have strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Be able to work with cleaning products.
Nice To Haves
- At least one year of hotel housekeeping experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous housekeeping or professional cleaning experience.
- Knowledge of standard cleaning techniques and hospitality industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Work alongside the Housekeeping team to maintain a clean facility.
