About The Position
The Wealshire is seeking experienced Laundry Aides for its Bloomington care facility. The role supports the community’s dementia and Alzheimer’s care environment by laundering residents’ and community linens, towels, and clothing, and returning clean laundry to residents’ rooms. The position is full-time, with hours from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Employees must be able to work every other weekend and every other holiday. Pay is $20–$23 per hour.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least one year of experience in laundry or housekeeping.
- Organized and detail-oriented.
- Ability to work independently.
- Must be able to work every other weekend and every other holiday.
Responsibilities
- Help keep all working areas neat, clean, and safe.
- Collect residents’ clothing and linens for laundry as needed.
- Launder residents’ and community linens, towels, and clothing.
- Deliver sorted, clean laundry to residents’ rooms.
- Assist with seasonal cleaning duties as assigned.
