Full Time Laundry Aide
About The Position
The Wealshire is seeking experienced Laundry Aides for its Bloomington care facility. The Wealshire provides dementia and Alzheimer’s care in the Twin Cities and describes itself as a family-oriented company. The role is full-time, with hours from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Employees must be able to work every other weekend and every other holiday. The listed pay is $20–$23 per hour. The Laundry Aide helps maintain clean, neat, and safe work areas; collects and launders residents’ clothing and community linens; and returns sorted clean laundry to residents’ rooms. The role also assists with seasonal cleaning duties as assigned. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least one year of experience in laundry or housekeeping.
- Organized and detail-oriented.
- Ability to work independently.
- Must be able to work every other weekend and every other holiday.
Responsibilities
- Assist in keeping all working areas neat, clean, and safe.
- Collect residents’ clothing and linens as needed for laundry.
- Launder residents’ and community linens, towels, and clothing.
- Deliver sorted clean laundry back to residents’ rooms.
- Assist with seasonal cleaning duties as assigned.
