About The Position

Journey is hiring a part-time Laundry Aide to support its care team and residents. The role includes cleaning and sanitizing resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas; managing cleaning supplies, equipment, and linens; and supporting residents with sensitivity to their privacy and individual needs. The position requires adherence to infection control policies and accurate completion of required documentation.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED diploma.

Nice To Haves

• Previous long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily and deep cleaning of resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas, including dusting, mopping, disinfecting surfaces, and managing trash and waste materials.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, such as vacuums and floor buffers, safely and effectively.
• Prepare and distribute supply packs and linens as needed.
• Respect residents’ privacy and individual needs while following infection control policies.
• Complete required documentation accurately.
