About The Position

Silverado Thousand Oaks is hiring a Laundry Aide to help maintain a clean, comfortable, and dignified environment for residents in a memory care community. The role involves collecting, cleaning, and sorting laundry; handling resident garments and linens properly; supporting department and community objectives; and maintaining a safe and sanitary environment. The position is part-time on the AM shift, Sunday and Monday, from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The anticipated pay range is $19–$21 USD.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent preferred.
• Comfortable working around animals and pets.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Able to walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work with individuals with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
