About The Position

Powdersville Post Acute is seeking a dependable part-time Laundry Aide to help maintain a clean, sanitary, and comfortable environment for residents at its 60-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Easley, South Carolina. The role ensures residents have access to clean linens and personal clothing daily.

Requirements

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Dependable and team-oriented.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• One year of laundry or housekeeping experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, and fold resident clothing and facility linens.
• Promptly distribute clean laundry to resident rooms.
• Label resident clothing as needed.
• Maintain linen quality and remove damaged or stained items from use.
• Follow infection control and sanitation procedures.
• Maintain inventory of laundry supplies.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Promptly report equipment issues or maintenance needs.
• Keep laundry areas clean, organized, and sanitary.
