About The Position

Silverado Thousand Oaks is hiring a Part Time Laundry Aide for the AM shift. The role supports a clean, comfortable, and dignified environment for residents by collecting, cleaning, and sorting laundry and ensuring resident garments and linens are handled properly. The Laundry Aide contributes to department and community goals and maintains a safe and sanitary environment. The position involves working around individuals with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. Schedule: Sunday and Monday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Anticipated pay range: $19–$21 per hour. Employment offers are contingent on a background check, drug screening, physical, and TB testing if applicable. Silverado uses E-Verify to confirm work authorization.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent preferred.
• Comfortable working around animals and pets.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work with individuals with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
