About The Position

River Falls Post Acute, located in Marietta, South Carolina, is a 44-bed facility offering a low-key, fun workplace where employees are valued and supported. We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Laundry Aide to ensure residents have clean clothing, linens, and bedding daily. This role is essential to maintaining a clean, comfortable, and sanitary environment throughout the facility.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous laundry, housekeeping, or environmental services experience preferred
• Healthcare or long-term care experience is a plus
• Reliable and hardworking
• Positive attitude and willingness to help others
• Pride in maintaining a clean and organized environment

Responsibilities

• Ensure an adequate supply of clean linens is available for resident care and comfort
• Collect resident laundry daily and as needed
• Sort, treat, wash, dry, fold, and organize clothing and linens
• Label resident clothing items as needed
• Deliver clean laundry to resident rooms in a timely manner
• Inspect linens and garments for damage and remove worn or stained items from service
• Follow all sanitation, infection control, and laundry procedures
• Maintain inventory of laundry supplies and report shortages as needed
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently
• Report equipment malfunctions and maintenance concerns promptly
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary laundry area
• Assist with housekeeping duties as assigned
