About The Position

The Laundry Aide helps provide residents with clean, well-maintained linens and clothing to support their comfort and hygiene. The role uses household and industrial laundry equipment, organizes and distributes clean linens, maintains laundry areas and equipment, and handles approved detergents and chemicals according to safety guidelines. It also involves delivering clothing and linens to residents’ rooms and other facility areas. The position calls for reliability, attention to detail, efficiency in a fast-paced environment, and a positive, cooperative approach when working with residents, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

Wash and dry resident and facility linens and clothing using household and industrial laundry equipment.
Fold and stack linens neatly and ensure proper storage and distribution.
Deliver clean linens and laundry promptly to resident rooms and facility areas.
Keep laundry areas and equipment clean and in good working condition.
Use approved laundry detergents and chemicals according to safety guidelines.
Deliver clothing directly to residents’ rooms and handle items with care.
