Laundry Aide
About The Position
VMP Healthcare and Community Living is looking for a Laundry Aide to join our team! You will collect, sort, process, repair, stock, store, and distribute laundry used in the facility and the laundry supplied by the commercial linen company according to prescribed washing, sanitation, and safety standards. We are seeking to fill 1 part-time position.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One to three months related experience and/or training
Responsibilities
- Collect, sort, process, repair, stock, store, and distribute laundry used in the facility and the laundry supplied by the commercial linen company according to prescribed washing, sanitation, and safety standards.
- Sort and wash laundry.
- Dry and fold, hang, repair, and/or iron processed laundry.
- Maintain the equipment and environment.
