About The Position

River Falls Post Acute, located in Marietta, South Carolina, is a 44-bed facility offering a low-key, fun workplace where employees are valued and supported. Our close-knit team is dedicated to providing exceptional care while creating a positive environment for both residents and staff. We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Laundry Aide to help ensure our residents have clean clothing, linens, and bedding every day. This role is essential to maintaining a clean, comfortable, and sanitary environment throughout the facility.

Nice To Haves

Previous laundry, housekeeping, or environmental services experience preferred
Healthcare or long-term care experience is a plus

Responsibilities

Ensure an adequate supply of clean linens is available for resident care and comfort
Collect resident laundry daily and as needed
Sort, treat, wash, dry, fold, and organize clothing and linens
Label resident clothing items as needed
Deliver clean laundry to resident rooms in a timely manner
Inspect linens and garments for damage and remove worn or stained items from service
Follow all sanitation, infection control, and laundry procedures
Maintain inventory of laundry supplies and report shortages as needed
Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently
Report equipment malfunctions and maintenance concerns promptly
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary laundry area
Assist with housekeeping duties as assigned
