About The Position

Reporting to the Director, Portfolio Management and Launch, the Launch Project Manager plays a central role in the planning, coordination, and execution of strategic projects. They lead and coordinate launch activities, from project initiation through to commercialization, ensuring alignment among cross-functional teams and external partners to achieve objectives. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to portfolio expansion and to patient access to new therapeutic options.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science or Business Administration.
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry and/or project management.
  • Proficiency in the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Fluency in oral and written French is mandatory.
  • Oral and written fluency in English is required for regular communication with customers, partners, and/or colleagues, whether in Canada or internationally.
  • Ability to travel to our headquarters in Saint-Hubert 2–3 times per week.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Autonomy and ability to manage priorities.

Nice To Haves

  • Degree in Project Management and/or a graduate degree (M.Sc. or Ph.D.).
  • PMP certification.
  • Good knowledge of pharmaceutical product development and the Canadian market, as well as applicable regulations.
  • General understanding of intellectual property.

Responsibilities

  • Define the scope of upcoming launches, establish a comprehensive project charter and detailed timelines, identify and assemble the project team and key stakeholders, be involved at all stages of development—from submission to Notice of Compliance—while supporting the commercial plan.
  • Organize and lead meetings with local and global cross-functional teams, development centers, and partners; document the decision-making process and meeting minutes.
  • Execute and monitor project timelines, ensure cost control, develop project strategies with subject matter experts, identify risks, and create contingency plans.
  • Ensure and prioritize the timely submission of projects to enable product launches within established timelines, with a focus on Day 1 launches or first-to-market opportunities.
  • Ensure developments are aligned with regulatory requirements, intellectual property strategy, quality standards, and marketing.
  • Manage and prioritize internal milestones related to regulatory submissions and launch purchase orders.
  • Oversee budgets related to business development and licensing projects, track milestone-related invoice payments in collaboration with Finance, and support the ordering and export of samples for bioequivalence studies.
  • Support due diligence assessments for new agreements, including new projects with new or existing partners, additions of new formats, or other scope changes.
  • Participate in the preparation of launch targets and the five-year strategic plan, including communication of project status, expected launch dates, risks, and other relevant details.
