About The Position

Regina Caeli Academy (www.rcahybrid.org) is seeking a part-time high school Latin teacher for the 2026-2027 academic year. This position is located in Carrollton, TX. The role involves teaching in a classical and Catholic classroom environment. While formal teaching certification or experience is not required, the academy will provide all necessary training. The ideal candidate will have a deep love for the Catholic faith, be able to sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church, and live the faith daily, including having received appropriate sacraments. The academy offers instruction in a formal Socratic classroom setting on Mondays and Thursdays. Curriculum and grading guidelines will be provided, and tutors will be trained in RCA standards for instruction and classroom management. The position requires strong communication skills, good organization, timeliness, and a traditional view of the student/teacher relationship. All staff must complete a background check and RCA Safe Child training.

Requirements

• Ability to sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church.
• Deep love for the Catholic faith.
• Living the Catholic faith day-to-day, including having received all the sacraments appropriate to his or her state in life.
• Standard computer skills (ideally with Google Suite or equivalent).
• Strong communication skills.
• Good organization.
• Timeliness.
• A traditional view of the student/teacher relationship.
• Must be available to attend mandatory training on August 10, 11, and 12, 2026.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Must complete RCA Safe Child training.
