About The Position

Regina Caeli Academy is seeking a part-time high school teacher for the 2026-2027 academic year at our Spring, TX location. The role involves teaching in a classical and Catholic classroom, with potential subjects including Algebra II, Trig, Pre-Calc, Chemistry, Religion, and History. No formal teaching certification or experience is required, as comprehensive training will be provided. The ideal candidate will have a deep love for the Catholic faith, be able to sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church, and possess strong communication skills, good organization, timeliness, and a traditional view of the student/teacher relationship. Applicants must be living the Catholic faith daily and have received appropriate sacraments. All staff undergo a background check and RCA Safe Child training.

Requirements

• Must be able to sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church.
• Must have a deep love for the Catholic faith.
• Must be living the Catholic faith day-to-day.
• Must have received all the sacraments appropriate to his or her state in life.
• Must complete a background check.
• Must complete RCA Safe Child training.
• Must attend 3 days of training on August 6, 7, and 10, 2026 (8am-5pm).

Nice To Haves

• Experience homeschooling or working with homeschool children.
• Ministry experience in a Catholic parish.
• Experience teaching Religious Education or Catechism classes.
• Experience teaching one's own children.
• Experience teaching in a classical or private school.

Responsibilities

• Teach classes in a classical and Catholic classroom setting.
• Prepare for classes at home.
• Follow and implement provided lesson plans.
• Teach in a highly structured environment.
• Provide instruction and classroom management according to RCA standards.
