About The Position

Regina Caeli Academy is seeking a part-time high school Latin teacher for the 2026-2027 academic year at their Carrollton, TX location. This role is within a classical and Catholic classroom environment. While formal teaching certification or experience is not required, applicants must be able to sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church and demonstrate a deep love for the Catholic faith. The academy provides curriculum, grading guidelines, and training in instruction and classroom management according to RCA standards. The position involves teaching on Mondays and Thursdays from 8:45 am to 3:15 pm, with preparation for classes done at home. A background check and RCA Safe Child training are mandatory for all staff.

Requirements

• Ability to sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church.
• Deep love for the Catholic faith.
• Living the Catholic faith day-to-day, including having received all appropriate sacraments.
• Standard computer skills (ideally with Google Suite or equivalent).
• Strong communication skills.
• Good organization.
• Timeliness.
• A traditional view of the student/teacher relationship.
• Must be available for mandatory training on August 10, 11, and 12, 2026.
• Must complete a background check.
• Must complete RCA Safe Child training.

• Experience homeschooling or working with homeschool children.
• Ministry experience in a Catholic parish.
• Experience teaching Religious Education or Catechism classes.
