Catholic Middle/High School Teacher
About The Position
Regina Caeli Academy (www.rcahybrid.org) is seeking a part-time Catholic Middle/High School Teacher for the 2026-27 academic year. This role involves teaching in a classical and Catholic classroom environment at our center near Lemont, IL, for approximately 13-14 hours per week. The academy offers instruction in a formal Socratic classroom setting on Mondays and Thursdays. While formal teaching certification or experience is not required, applicants must have a deep love for the Catholic faith and be able to sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, good organization, timeliness, a traditional view of the student/teacher relationship, and actively live the Catholic faith. Curriculum and grading guidelines will be provided, and tutors will receive training on RCA standards for instruction and classroom management. All staff must complete a background check and attend mandatory training from August 3-5, 2026.
Requirements

- Must be living the Catholic faith day-to-day, including having received all the sacraments appropriate to his or her state in life.

Responsibilities
- Teach Algebra, Biology, Language Arts, and Latin classes.
