About The Position

This position is responsible for operating, maintaining, troubleshooting and adjusting the laser, as required. The role involves working second shift if needed, figuring material used by checking parts against a list, marking parts properly, and understanding various types of metal. Additionally, the operator will be responsible for driving a tow motor and operating a crane. Additional items may be assigned by the manager. This position interacts with other manufacturing personnel, the area supervisor, and the project manager.

Requirements

• 3 – 5 years of experience using a laser (LVD experience)
• Demonstrated strong past attendance record
• Programming capabilities (Fanuc Controls)
• Ability to maintain, troubleshoot and adjust laser as required
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
